As the Netzwerk Naturwissen at the Museum of Natural History in Berlin, we are working to bring together stakeholders from science, civil society, culture, politics, and administration to develop new alliances for a livable city. In this context, we would like to cordially invite you to participate in our event on October 13, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Berlin.

The starting point for the evening will be the adoption of a purpose statement developed jointly by the Netzwerk Naturwissen, which will serve as the basis for our future cooperation and also make visible to the outside world what we stand for as a network. We would like to discuss how we can not only manage urban resources—social, cultural, technological, and material—but also rethink them as collective opportunities and use them together.

The evening will be divided into two parts: At the beginning, three keynote speeches are planned, which will open up different perspectives on the topic. This will be followed by a fishbowl discussion with network members and other interested parties in order to jointly develop concrete perspectives for a sustainable and community-oriented vision.
