In December 2022, the WWF was a guest at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. As part of the World Natrue Conference (COP 15), which took place from 7 to 19 December 2022 in Montreal, Canada, the WWF took the initiative to raise awareness of nature and species conservation. A symbolic representation was a four-metre high "Jenga Tower of Biodiversity", which was exhibited at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin in December 2022. The message was clear: animal and plant species are disappearing at an alarming rate - up to 150 species a day, irreversibly. And: The conservation of biodiversity is all interconnected! If one element is removed, whether it's a species or a habitat, the whole system becomes unstable and can collapse. But it's not too late - we have the chance to restore balance if we act now.
