Digital accessibility statement

We endeavour to make our website barrier-free. The declaration on digital accessibility is required by the Berlin Act on Accessible Information and Communication Technology (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are set out in the current BITV.

Accessibility Statement

Evaluation
The Museum für Naturkunde Berlin is committed to making the website (Atlas Naturwissen) accessible in accordance with national legal requirements for implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. The legal basis for this is the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Accessibility
The website is under construction and is being continuously adapted. This page uses interactive illustrative maps to place and contextualise content. These illustrations have different contrasts and may lead to difficult readability situations. However, all content placed on these illustrative maps is also navigable via navigation control panels, which have sufficient contrast.

Feedback and contact
